Introducing a Lifestyle Brand to Egypt
Challenge: A Korean lifestyle brand sought to expand into Egypt, where a growing youth population and increasing digital adoption presented strong potential. However, the market’s economic fluctuations and the need to align with local cultural values posed key challenges.
Solution: We conducted in-depth consumer and cultural research to localize the brand’s messaging for Egyptian audiences. Collaborating with fashion and lifestyle influencers popular among Gen Z and millennials, we emphasized authentic storytelling aligned with Egyptian lifestyle aspirations.
Our team organized a VIP launch event in Cairo, followed by a pop-up store at City Stars Mall, integrating modern Korean minimalism with local artistic elements. Additionally, we implemented a targeted PR and gifting program that reached editors and micro-influencers across fashion and lifestyle media.
Results: First-month sales exceeded projections by 35%, while the brand’s social following grew by 20,000 in just two weeks. Features in Egypt’s leading lifestyle magazines and influencer coverage boosted brand credibility, and 89% of event attendees expressed intent to purchase within the first month.
